NANOPORE MICRONEEDLING
AFTERCARE ADVICE

Sesderma Nanopore improves the health and quality of the skin by stimulating essential cells to increase collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. It is an effective treatment for acne scarring, stretch marks, fine lines and wrinkles, open pores, and generally improves skin tone, texture and brightness.

Topical nano-Meso solutions which are tailored to your specific needs will be applied during the Nanopore treatment and theses solutions will be pushed into the skin, the Meso solutions will effectively absorb deeply to treatment skin conditions.

After the treatment is administered treatment cream will be applied along with an SPF cream to ensure that your skin is protected from UVA and UVB sun damage.  It is important that you continue to use the sunscreen daily during your treatment course, to prevent uneven pigmentation and ageing of the skin which will be more vulnerable during this time.  Ongoing daily SPF protection is recommended after your treatment to maintain your results.

It is important to understand that skin is a living organ and will respond to daily exposure to free radicals, UVA/UVB damage and general wear and tear.  To maintain a healthy skin we recommend daily use of cosmeceuticals, a broad spectrum sunscreen minimum SPF 30 and 4-6 weekly maintenance skin treatments, Peel or Nanopore.

AFTER TREATMENT

After the treatment is administered treatment cream will be applied along with an SPF cream to ensure that your skin is protected from UVA and UVB sun damage.  It is important that you continue to use the sunscreen daily during your treatment course, to prevent uneven pigmentation and ageing of the skin which will be more vulnerable during this time.  Ongoing daily SPF protection is recommended after your treatment to maintain your results.

If redness worsens, or itching occurs in the first few hours after treatment, cold compresses, or an anti-histamine tablet will help to resolve any discomfort.  Use only the recommended products until skin colour returns to normal, then usual skin care may be resumed.  The use of a serum is recommended to support healthy skin repair and boost results SPF 30 or above should be worn daily during the course of the treatment.

You are advised to avoid alcohol, vigorous exercise, and extremes of heat or cold for 48 hours post treatment. These activities have been found to increase and prolong redness and swelling.
